WorkCover
WorkCover claims accepted with a valid claim number.
We treat accepted WorkCover claims and handle the reporting and correspondence with your insurer and case manager, so the paperwork is not another job on your list.
Assessment-led physiotherapy in Melbourne. You leave your first session with a diagnosis in plain language, a written plan, and a timeframe — not a vague “come back next week”. In our rooms, or at your home.

Acute episodes and long-standing pain. Assessment first, then a plan you can actually follow.
We separate joint, disc and muscular drivers — they don’t respond to the same plan.
Neck-driven pain and tension headaches. Treatment aimed at the cause, not the symptom.
We test whether the headache reproduces from the neck before treating it as one.
Rotator cuff, impingement, post-dislocation. Staged loading back to full range.
We check cuff strength, scapular control and range separately — each changes the plan.
Ligament, meniscus and tendon injuries — from first steps to return to sport.
We test ligament, meniscus and tendon load separately — they need different plans.
Injuries assessed properly, with clear criteria before you return to play.
We set the return criteria at the first session, so the finish line is never vague.
Structured rehab that follows your surgeon’s protocol, week by week.
We work from your surgeon’s protocol and tell you which week you’re actually in.
Long-term pain needs a different approach: graded activity, education, honest timeframes.
We look at load tolerance and what flares it, not just where it hurts.
WorkCover and TAC claims accepted. We handle the paperwork with you.
We assess the demands of your actual job, and write the plan around getting back to it.
Your first session maps the problem — history, movement testing, and a working diagnosis explained in plain language.
You get a written plan: what we'll do in the room, what you'll do at home, and the timeframe we're working to.
Treatment and load progress as you do. We retest against the plan, so you can see the change — not just feel it.
Book online or call. Bring your health fund card, and a referral only if you have one — you don’t need one to see us.
We take your history, test how you move, and find the mechanism behind the pain. You’ll understand what we found before you leave the room.
You get it in writing: what we’ll do here, what you’ll do at home, and what we’re aiming for.
Claim your rebate on the spot through HICAPS. You pay the gap, and you know exactly when you’re back.
Power, in motion — the launch film.

You see your physiotherapist for the entire session. Assessment comes before treatment, every time — and you’ll never be asked to keep coming back without a reason you understand.

Some people recover better at home — after surgery, with mobility limits, or when getting to a clinic is the hardest part of the day. Mobile appointments run the same way as in-rooms: full assessment, plain-language diagnosis, a written plan.

Most people arrive already holding a claim number, a plan or a level of cover. We work with all of them, and we handle the reporting that goes with each — so the admin is our job, not yours.

Transport Accident Commission claims are treated the same way — bring your claim number and we manage the rest with TAC directly.
NDIS — self-managed and plan-managed participants welcome.
Physiotherapy delivered as clinical allied health under a participant plan, including functional capacity assessment and reporting written for the people who read it.
Private health rebates on the spot.
HICAPS terminal in the clinic — claim your extras rebate at the counter and pay only the gap. Your level of cover determines the rebate; your fund sets that, not us.
Aged care physiotherapy, in the home or the residence.
Strength, balance and falls-risk work for older adults, delivered where the person actually lives. We work alongside the care team and provide written reporting for the care plan.
Clinical mentorship for physiotherapists.
Structured supervision and case-based mentoring for early-career physiotherapists and clinicians moving into musculoskeletal caseloads. Sessions are built around your own cases and reasoning, not a syllabus.
Power Physiotherapy is a private practice. We accept self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants; we are not an NDIA-registered provider. Rebates and entitlements are set by your fund, insurer or plan — we’ll tell you what applies before you book, not after. Booking, deposit and cancellation policy.
No. Physiotherapists are primary practitioners, so you can book directly. A referral is only needed for Medicare-subsidised care plans — WorkCover and TAC patients just need their claim number.
Comfortable clothes you can move in. Shorts help for lower-limb problems. There’s a private room if you need to change.
Initial consults run longer than follow-ups so there’s time for a full assessment. Exact times and fees are shown when you book.
Yes. We process health fund rebates through HICAPS at the desk — bring your card and pay only the gap.
Free to move or cancel with more than 24 hours' notice. Inside 24 hours, or if an appointment isn't attended, 50% of the appointment fee applies — it's a genuine estimate of what the unfilled time costs, not a penalty. We don't charge it where the reason was outside your control, and nothing is charged without contacting you first. A deposit confirms your booking and comes off the cost of the appointment.
Yes, if your plan is self-managed or plan-managed. We're not an NDIA-registered provider, so agency-managed plans can't be used with us. We provide physiotherapy as clinical allied health, including functional capacity assessment and the written reporting that goes with it.
Yes. Bring your claim number and insurer details to your first visit and we’ll take it from there.
Yes. Mobile appointments run the same as in-rooms: full assessment, diagnosis in plain language, and a written plan. Tell us where you are when you book and we’ll confirm what’s available.
The assessment is the same. The advantage is that we set your rehab up in the space you’ll actually do it in. Some equipment-based treatment is clinic-only, and we’ll tell you upfront if that applies.
Assessment shouldn’t be painful, and we’ll tell you before we do anything that might be uncomfortable. You can stop at any point.
Bring what you’ve tried. Knowing what didn’t help is genuinely useful — it narrows the mechanism faster.
Didn’t find your question? Ask us when you book — it takes two minutes.
Physiotherapists are primary practitioners. Book directly.
You’ll never be asked to commit to a block of sessions to start.
If physiotherapy isn’t the right fit for your problem, we’ll tell you and point you to who is.
